Mechanic: Branded Colour Changing Spoons

Aim: Leading ice cream producer Birds Eye Walls planned to run a Summer promotion for their Gino Ginelli ice cream brand. They wanted a promotion that would appeal to children and parents alike and create increased sales and brand loyalty through a collectible giveaway.

Solution: In response we developed a range of four colour changing ice cream spoons, specially shaped for children and strong enough for ice cream. The important element that made them such a popular and collectible items was their unique colour changing property - each spoon can be three different colours! They changed to one colour in the ice cream, another colour at room temperature and a third colour in the hand or mouth!

Comments: The spoons were made of polypropylene and were completely non-toxic, food safe, dishwasher safe and were moulded to include the Gino Ginelli name.
